Fairy Baby commission piece

So i love the Brooklyn and the bubblegum dragon so much I decided that I am going to be doing a series. Though I may redo a bit of this digitally because for some reason it came out really pixelated, but for now this is good :) It felt good to pull out the paints

So for some reason this piece made my photoshop crash about a million times, but I stuck through it.

So I know someone really wonderful who recently found out their husband has cancer, I pray with all my heart that everything will be okay, and this piece is for her family. I hope many blessings for them. Watercolor, then digital tweaking. I went a little quickly with this, but I still enjoyed making it :)

Brooklyn and her Bubble Breathing Dragon watercolor with digital tweaks

I was looking at Peter DeSeve's beautiful watercolor pieces and I felt inspired to doing something more traditional looking rather than my usual digital coloring. I had so much fun with this piece. I was going to do a traditional lizard dragon, but I had stumbled upon one of those floppy eared rat holding teddy bear pictures and I knew what I had to do. This was colored with all watercolor with some digital tweaking here and there. I also timed myself so that I can figure out exactly how long it takes to do a finished piece : 7hrs.
